Data Acquisition System Technical Solution

       The system is used for strain and displacement data acquisition and processing in static fatigue tests. The system framework is shown in the figure. It consists of a network server and front-end data collectors. The server performs system control, parameter configuration, maintenance, user management, and coordinates communication between the data acquisition system and control system. Through a browser, any networked computer can observe changes in monitored channels.

       The data acquisition box consists of a strain acquisition box and a displacement acquisition box. One strain acquisition box can simultaneously collect strain values from 128 channels. One displacement acquisition box can collect displacement values from 64 channels. Considering the efficiency of communication within the local area network, UDP packets are used for control command communication between the data acquisition workstation, data acquisition box and server, while TCP packets are used for acquired data transmission.
